Party In the USA is the newest single from Miley Cyrus' most recent cd, Time of Our Lives. Clearly this song has already won the popularity contest, but can it last the test of time?
Party In The USA has a simple and relatable theme. A girl has come to a new place and is nervous. When her favorite song starts playing on the radio, she doesn't feel nervous or afraid anymore.
Miley Cyrus has a beautiful voice, and the song is incredible catchy. However, there are some problems with the song, the most prominent being that it sounds overworked and has no real depth. At times it almost feels as if Miley is trying to find her place in music, and seems like the song is drifting between genres. Party In The USA may have reached the top of the charts, but it is not the kind of song that has any lasting place in music.
